I've stayed here several times and always had an enjoyable experience. The hosts make me feel right at home and are very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and places to see and visit. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable. Being near historic sites and South Street is an added bonus!
but don't go past the entry. The room had a flimsy lock from the inside, the blinds had not been cleaned in months or years, the shower was too dirty to use, etc., etc. I did not sleep most of the night and found the guest breakfast area in the morning to be nearly as unkempt as the guest rooms....
