My wife and I did an overnight stay for our anniversary. I had booked the room through the SPG Platinum concierge 800 number. I mentioned to the booking agent that it was my anniversary. Upon check-in Barbara immediately upgraded us to a Suite and then congratulated us on our anniversary. Karim was also at the front desk at the time... More

My mom, sister and I stayed at the Westin Philadelphia last weekend. It was a great experience. The beds and pillows were SO comfortable, and the room was well-sized and clean. The bathroom was large and the shower was enjoyable, with Westin-brand soaps that always smell great. The hotel staff was polite and helpful, and the hotel is located walking... More

Just spent memorial day weekend at the Westin Philadelphia. Overall, we had a good experience. Pros: -They let us check in very early on a weekday when it was slow. This was AMAZING since we had just got off a red-eye flight. -The service was wonderful. The front desk, concierge, door staff, everyone was pleasant and helpful. -The rooms were... More

We've stayed here a couple of times (using Starwood points) and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. The only downside is that they always seem to be fully booked, so we've never been able to get an upgraded room with our gold status, but other than that, no complaints. The location is great - walking distance to Rittenhouse Square and... More

There's nothing especially striking about this hotel, but that's fine. The lobby is 3 floors up from street level, so it's quiet, and it's a comfortable place to gather for informal meetings. Rooms were what you'd expect - clean, comfortable. The location is good. Rittenhouse Square is a couple blocks away. It's about a 10 minute walk to the convention... More

The Westin was a great place to stay. I was in town for a conference and it was convenient to all the meetings I was attending. The breakfast buffet was very good and not as overly priced as those hotel breakfasts can be. The rooms were very nice and the staff was helpful.

I recently stayed at the Westin in Philly. I was close enough to walk to all the historic locations I wanted to see. I also walked to Pat's and Geno's to eat a Cheesesteak. The service at the hotel was top notch, friendly, very elegant and clean lobby. I would definately recommend staying there. There is plenty of shopping also,... More

The place is kind of overrated on Tripadvisor. Everywhere the people were unfriendly.Breakfast was very simply. Had to pay for lousy Wifi. Floors were not clean Sink did not work. Overpriced.

We here at the Westin are truly sorry that you had an unpleasant experience. I invite you to e-mail me specific departments where you found our staff to be, as you put it, unfriendly. I assure you that every single staff member goes through vigorous trainings on what the Westin's Guest Service Expectations. As for the wi-fi I will share... More

This was an overnight business trip. My event's evening reception was in an adjacent building, so I opted to stay at the Westin, despite the $300 price tag. The hotel is an odd configuration with no real lobby, but it is nice enough. However, they missed on every little detail. First, the valet parking was $49 - really? Self park... More

Gorap: I want to first apologize that your stay was less then expected, we strive to be at the top of the Westin Brand here in Philadelphia. That being said I have shard your comments with our housekeeping staff about the fact that you were missing regular coffee, a notepad, and more then one large towel. These are unacceptable mishaps... My wife is from Philly so we go to town several times a year to see her family and always stay at the Westin. It is generally pricey but worth it. Good service, clean rooms and a nice Sunday buffet breakfast. Valet parking is as expensive as heck (about $45) but that's about the only drawback. A good spot to... More
