Pool was nice and clean and refreshing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a travel trailer on site 12, full hookup site. It was a spectacular patio site. No issues with any of the hookups. Mini golf, giant outdoor chess board and the outside checker board were fun and the ice cream treats are a hit!

Pros - close to Gettysburg, very clean bathhouse, good water pressure at sites, shaded sites, shuffleboard and lots of amenities. Cons - loud on-site construction all day everyday, be ready to navigate between tree stumps and boulders to get into small back-in campsites, pool heater broken (nice size pool), dog park is crush and run, and grassy dog walk area is next to the road which you must use if you want to walk your dog on the grass as the entire camp is gravel.

This campground is clean and the sites are all gravel with large boulders (which you'll find everywhere in the Gettysburg area), and trees between sites, which is very pretty. Haven't been to a site that is quite like this before. It is close to all of the historic sites (within 15 minutes driving) which was wonderful. These sites are small. There is not much room for your vehicle and some folks slide-outs seemed like they were a hairs-breath from the boulders. And somehow the sites are very close to one another. The trees and boulders are deceptive in that they make the sites seems bigger until you start to use the spot. Some folks have difficulty parking and are out in the roadway making getting in and out with your camper tricky. We didn't use the pool and weren't outside much as it rained for much of our trip. One morning, the mosquitoes were out, but the evening before when we had dinner outside, we didn't have any trouble with them, but I also had my bug diffuser going. There are lots of people tucked all around you here, beside, behind, and in front. Another deception of the trees. You think you have a little privacy, but you can hear all of the people around you.…

This was a very nice campground and very convenient to the Gettysburg sites we wanted to visit. I would have rated better except for a few things. I made a reservation mid December for a mid May stay of 4 nights and paid the required deposit. Upon check-in, I was charged a higher price. When I questioned this, I was told that prices went up by an employee who was a bit rude and acted like I was out of line for asking. I work on a budget and consider a reservation a contract. Finding out I had to pay more than expected was frustrating. It didn't break the bank but the handling of my reservation tickled the back of my mind all week. If prices went up, shouldn't I have received an email notice letting me know so I could make a decision if I wanted to keep my reservation BEFORE I was standing at the check-in counter? We stayed in Site #17 which is a nice pull through site. The firepit, however, is not conveniently located in the site so we did not use. It did have some poison ivy growing around it so it may not have been a good idea anyway. Overall, this is a very clean, well maintained campground with a great location. Not honoring a reservation price, however, will probably keep me from booking again.…

This was a nice place to stay, very quiet, off the beaten path location, but still convenient to Gettysburg. We did not really use the facilities, but they appeared to be well maintained. The RV park was quite full, but it was quiet and comfortable. I would not hesitate to come back should I find myself in the area again.

This is a beautiful property however it has very a challenging front desk staff. From check in the afternoon front desk staff was rude and inconsiderate. It felt very much as if we were a bother to their conversation they were having in the moment. As we visited the store for snacks and equipment, each of the 3 times the front desk staff were extremely bothered and often didn't acknowledge us, even at check out as they continued their conversations which was usually negative about the other workers. They were very different in their interaction with their regulars, as we sat and observed. I would try another campsite in the area, many to choose from. For me and my family works like relaxation not a negative experience.

We had our first visit to the KOA Gettysburg/Battlefield. The check-in process was quick. Our campsite was plenty big enough to accommodate our 31' travel trailer with slide out. It had two fire pits, and the hookups worked great. From check-in we were escorted to our campsite by Bob who then helped guide my husband as he backed up into the spot. We enjoyed the dog park, the ice cream, the Sat. evening entertainment, and the Saturday morning pancake breakfast. Our favorite part was the nature trail. It was a great path for our Pup. The best part of our stay, though, were the personnel who worked. They were helpful, accommodating, friendly and very kind. Thanks for a great stay!

We have vacationed here frequently. The staff is amazing. They are polite knowledgeable and friendly. The grounds are clean and well manicured. We never lack for things to do either at the campground or area. The Lodge is comfortable and we’ll stocked with the necessities.
