Thank you for your review of our park. We have completed some of the planned renovations in the Club House, Restroom/Showers, and grounds. We have also updated the Cable TV distribution system as well as added access points for the WIFI system. Glad to see that you liked the improvements thus far.

We pulled in after hours to find a site. It was set up bad for anything even half way large and there were almost all trashy permanents. One side had people living out of an old ambulance and another had people in an old prison bus! We were frightened that with as old as it was the electric could mess...

Needed a camp for a large group, made reservations months in advance. Arrived to find a rundown place. The pictures on their website are a decade old, and no maintainence since. You can't tell from the website, but Lavaland has definitely seen better days. Saplings grew in unused sites, water leaked from a few places onto the road, and cigarette butts abounded. Lava Land is a RV park that is mostly to do with cheap permanent housing. It is not kept up or anyone there to man the office.
