When we first came into town, we stopped at a motel down the street from this one and after being told that a room for 2 adults for one night was going to be $199.00 before taxes we came across this one. Still a little expensive but a lot better in price than the other one. Older motel, rooms were... More

Rooms could be cleaner - extremely noisy location on main road and close to the bridge causing constant heavy traffic noise in rooms. Morning coffee and baked offering in office was never sufficient for all to receive - often just empty baskets remained.

Stayed for the Astoria/Warrenton wine & seafood festival April 27th to the 29th and booked this motel 3 months out. If you want 5 stars and $350.00 a night charge go to the Cannery but for what it cost here I was extremely happy for a clean room, nice bed and extra towels and pillows. Excellent value for your dollar

The staff are superb. We were very impressed by their friendliness and helpfulness. The rates were most affordable and the room was very clean and surprisingly quiet, although it probably gets much noisier during high-travel season. The surprise view of the bridge was stunning. The breakfast was okay, though there were far too many sweet pastries for my taste, the... More

It is comfortable enough to rest. It was good for the price I paid. The wonderful thing happened after we left. We left behind a wallet! The staff tried hard to track me down. When I finally could check my phone, We were half way to Seattle. We got our whole wallet back through US express mail 2 days later.We... More

I was very impressed by this little hotel under the bridge. It was quiet, tidy, and had friendly staff. The room was clean and had been updated, all except for the TV, which was older, but it wasn't a problem with us since we didn't come to watch TV. The pool and hot tub looked pretty new and we had... We were traveling thru Astoria during the Thanksgiving holiday and decided, at the spur of the moment, to stay the night. We called several hotels and were quoted high prices. We tried the Dunes and they were very reasonable so we booked a night's stay. The hotel receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with brand... More

Not too many choices in Astoria. This older motel is by the river and supposedly has been updated but we found the furniture to be worn and the bathroom to be very dated. No hairdryers was a real suprise. The breakfast consisted of sweet rolls and coffee but there is a McDonalds near by.

When our first choice for a Astoria hotel was full, we booked this unknown one. To our surprise, it has all the location features of the more expensive hotels and, in addition, a very cordial and professional staff. Our room on the second floor, facing the Columbia River, was adjacent to the river walkway and the trolley into downtown's museums,... More

We spent one night here visiting the city and were very satisfied with the room, the location, and the price. We paid $75.00 plus tax for the night which included a continental breakfast. The room was clean, recently redecorated, computer access good.
