My husband and I recently stayed at Sproul ranch and loved it. The pictures on the hotel's website simply don't do it justice. Get here early and enjoy the pool area as much as you can. It is also a convenient place to stay if you're going to the McDonald Observatory; which is about a 25 minute drive away.
