Beautiful grounds, awful accomodations and service. NOT comparable to a Marriott as the advertisement stated. This is a converted dorm with outdated everything! Bathroom shower/tub was so dirty you could grow black eyed peas in it. Continental breakfast was the pits. NEVER STAY HERE!

We stayed here for a visit to the Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus. This property was listed as near the campus, it is not. About a 15 minute drive. The rate was good, setting is lovely and grounds are beautiful, the rooms were fine too. The front desk service is poor. We only had 2 towels in our room for 3... More

I needed a place to stay while doing a first round of hunting on my own. I chose the Mt. Washington Conference Center because of its affiliation with Hopkins (my husband is new faculty), the quiet area, and its amenities (free parking, free wi-fi, free continental breakfast). While only a touch on the "no frills" side (the furniture and bathroom... More

We were visiting Johns Hopkins University and stayed here as they had a shuttle and we wouldnt have to drive. when we checked in, we found out the shuttle didnt run on weekends. The room was nice. maybe a little small. Thin walls in bathroom (could hear people in other bathroom). My daughter felt the bed and pillows were uncomfortable... More

Poor reviews had made me nervous to book this location for our event. However, from the beginning of my communication with the Hotel Manager, I found the staff to be overwhelmingly nice and helpful. They went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed for our overnight event. We booked the queen bedrooms and suites, and... More

I stayed here for a conference so this is for both the hotel and conference center. I'd give the conference center 4 stars and the hotel 2 stars, so it averages out to 3 and you can read whichever is more relevant to your needs :) I think it's a really nice conference center. The area is really beautiful, the... More

I stayed in the hotel part of the conference center for two nights in October of 2011. The room decor reminded me of a college dorm with built in desks and shelves. The facility is definitely well-used, however, it was clean, safe, and quiet, which is what I needed. The location is about a 15 minute drive from downtown Baltimore,... More

This conference center is accessible, economical and the service was superb. The food was plentiful and the choices were vast. The beds and sheets were very nice and each room has a balcony. The grounds are beautiful and in a great area. Close to light rail and restaurants. Great gym and the snack stations throughout the property are always stocked... More

Lovely facility but the staff was quite noisy during our business meeting, it was very distracting. At one point the staff started removing items from our room ... maybe in preparation for the next meeting?

Staying here could be a stunning experience but the service was bad, from a missed wake-up call to a receipt that was not itemized with taxes broken out (standard practice!) Note to travelers: there is free high-speed internet but through an insecure connection.
