Special warmed us right up for our stay. His orientation was detailed, yet very fun. Each room tastefully decorated to perfection. I enjoyed original Picasso in the bathroom. The common areas are also perfectly designed. We loved evening chatting over glasses of wine and cheese. I didn't want to leave.

If you're headed to Savannah, you have GOT to stay at The 1895 Inn! My husband and I have stayed in many B&B's in places such as St. Augustine, Charleston and a few others in Savannah, and no other even comes close to the experience you'll have at The 1895. The home itself is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean and full... More

Without repeating the many wonderful amenities and attributes that all other reviewers have noted, I will add to that list some small but much appreciated niceities: high quality toiletries, 2 suitcase stands, 2 t.v. tables, good & plenty of lamps for reading, large library in rooms & shared areas, complimentary bottled water & soda, and the fine evening desert. Ed's... More

My spouse and I spent three nights at the 1895 inn the second week in may. This was a wonderful choice. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Ed, Robert, and Dudley made us feel like family. Our room was on the top floor. The furniture was lovely, bed comfortable, and the bathroom a nice size with very fluffy towels.... More

My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful stay with Ed, Robert and Dudley at The 1895 Inn. Every morning we were greeted by our gracious hosts (and their cutie pie pup Dudley) with an amazing homemade breakfast and lots of fun conversation. You get to share your meal with the other folks staying at the house so if you're... More

Ed, Robert and Dudley are amazing hosts. The inn is immaculate, comfortable and centrally located. Easy walk to just about everywhere. Gourmet breakfasts, great wine and cheese in afternoon, and delicious chocolate cake at night. Would recommend to anyone looking for a home away from home. Will definitely stay again when back in Savannah. Thank you Ed, Robert and Dudley!

My wife and I spent two lovely nights at this wonderful inn in Savannah in celebration of our 40th anniversary. It is simply fantastic! The inn is filled with artworks and an amazing collection of antique furniture. Ed, the owner, and his cute little dog, Dudley, greet you upon arrival, and from that point on you are treated as a... My husband and I stayed here for our 25th. It was a wonderful place. The rooms were more than clean, as well as the decor beautiful. Ed and Robert were very welcoming, and Ed was so full of advice that saved us lots of time. It is a very convenient location, central to all there is to see in Savannah.... More

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful bed and breakfast in March. It was a wonderful experience and the hosts were both welcoming and knowledgeable. It is located conveniently, allowing guests to walk anywhere in the Historic District. I would recommend this B&B unconditionally.
