We had a great stay at the HGI. We had a room on the 6th floor with a balcony and views of the river. Some people on here have complained about the noise from bay st but it was not disturbing at all. It's location is perfect. We never even had to get in the car until we checked out.... More

This hotel was clean, in a good location that was close to water front and right in the heart of the historic district, had friendly staff, and had a decent breakfast. Restaurants and historic visits were all within walking distance. We would stay here again.

This is a nice place to stay if you're looking for a place that's extremely close to river street. We just walked across the street and took the elevator that's next to the Hyatt hotel down to river street. We parked the car and never moved it because we could walk everywhere. The room was fine but the television was poor. hotel location was excellent. Check-in and check-out as well as Valet parking was very good. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast had a good selection, but, pancakes and eggs were fair, at best. The bed could have been better.

Great experience... my wife and I went to Savannah for our 20 year anniversary. The loaction was perfect. The hotel was great, exactly what you would expect for Hilton Garden Inn. Staff helpful and cannot wait to go back.

This hotel is in the best location. You are within easy walking distance to River Street and all the other great downtown locations like Lady and Son's. The staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend this hotel for a weekend stay or for business.
