We really enjoyed our stay here. Quirky, priced right, located downtown. The only issue was that our rooms kept getting half-done. What a great and hip place! Loved the decor - so fun! Bobby at the front desk was awesome! Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Such a nice and fun guy and wow what a surprise! Never stayed at a Thunderbird Inn - when in Savannah in the future - I WILL STAY HERE AGAIN!

Great staff - very friendly & helpful. Can't beat the location; Savannah is a very walkable city. The best part was how pet friendly the hotel is. They had doggie treats and charms for their collars upon arrival. I thought it was a nice touch. Best of all, we got the room for under $100 per night!

Go in without thinking that you're checking into the Ritz and you won't be disappointed. Many people expect to pay pennies for 4*, it's just not going to happen. It's a gussied-up Motel 6 or TravelLodge situation - they did a good job with the refurb, don't get me wrong. At first glance, the Thunderbird Inn doesn't look too impressive, but the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. They give you complimentary MoonPies and RC Cola, too!! It was a great stay, and walking distance to everything we wanted to do.

We didn't know what to expect as we approached this rehabbed "retro" hotel. In additional to a reasonable proce, we found hospitality (Bobby at the registration desk was great), clean, updated rooms, low noise factor, and (wow) RC Colas and Moonpies on one evening. Walking distance to the historic area. What more could we ask.
