We stayed for 3 nights in May and were very happy with the attention to detail and remarkable location. We were walking distance to everything in the historic area of Savannah.

The Planters Inn is the perfect location in the historic district in Savannah. The staff was so friendly, rooms clean. They have a fun wine and cheese get together every night except Sunday. The city of Savannah is great for walking and this location is very close to the River Front area, lots of good places to eat and shop. The staff was most helpful in recommendations for tours and dinner reservations as well! Savannah is a lovely, historic town that should not be missed if you are visiting Georgia!

Planters Inn is a good hotel but not a great one if you are paying $125/135 it is OK as the location and general hotel are fine. Don't make the mistake of just showing up at the hotel and booking a room as it becomes very expensive
