Wow! I write from Prague. I have stayed in many different places throughout the world and this was, by far, the most wonderful, eclectic place for staying Alaska that I know. Was really looking foward to staying here in a very interesting building and meeting the couple who claim to run it. Instead Suzie was no-where to be seen and the very elderly parents of Sean were trying to keep it up. Way too much work for them to do alone & it shows...They were VERY nice to talk to, but... More

Great place to stay. Would recommend to anyone. Hosts were extremely nice. Very beautiful setting and the rooms were nice and clean.

The hosts are wonderful and environmentally conscious. The building is a 4 story log structure hand built by the owner. It is situated about 5 minutes from the University of Alaska and 15 minutes from downtown Fairbanks. It is nestled in a charming spruce forest with a view of a pond.
