Well, the room wasn't *bad*. A bit worn around the edges, maybe. However, the service was APPALLING. I dealt with three different front desk clerks - two of them had no business working with the public. The internet was constantly not working and the staff didn't seem to give a damn.

We had great rooms, King bed suite. Staff very helpful, arranged transportation although they offer shuttle service to rail station and airport. Good breakfast. We would definately stay there again next time we visit Fairbanks.

We stayed here September 6 2011 and certainly didn't experience the problems of the previous reviewer. It's a nice hotel surrounded by trees, and the rooms are clean, warm, and inviting. Pool closed, no explanation, no discount for lack of facility. Breakfast room small, poky. Breakfast inadequate and poor quality. Everything disposable - e.g. throwaway cups, plates etc. Receptionist incompetent and surly with it.
