This is a wonderful historical lodge that offers a great dining experience and a laid-back, restful stay. It's located on the shore of Lake Superior so the sunrises are spectacular. One caveat...there are no TV's in the rooms (no wifi capability either).

Naniboujou is unique. It isn't for everyone. Our church ladies group stopped for afternoon tea and food/tea was excellent. Very good service and a faith talk by Tim left everybody inspired and full. Not often you can take time out of our busy schedules for tea and time with good friends.

Stayed here for two nights while in the area for some hiking. Our room was tiny, smelled horrible and was filled with flies. Staff's answer was to spray RAID all over the window and room which just made the smell even worse and didn't come close to solvign the problem.
