My family stayed at Mtn. House for a weekend getaway, July 15th-18th. When we checked in our bathroom door wouldn't close, they fixed that the next day during maid service. We stayed here for our vacation in the smokies to be close to everything to avoid driving everywhere. It was great. One of the few family-owned, traditional, home-style motor inns. Good location, close walk to "the strip". Hotel Room was clean and the price was right. However, the bed was hard as a rock. Pillows were flat. Terrible time sleeping on that bed.

I stayed at the motel while in Gatlinburg for a conference. I work for the government and they only allocated $70 a night for hotels costs.
