Location is not the great, water too polluter, service is not good

Stayed here for just 1 day. Could have used another day here. Beautiful island resort with private lake and then a pool between the lake. The room was excellent but the service was very slow. They gave us a temporary room till getting our room ready. They left us till 2:45 pm waiting and whenever call the receiption they were answering by "it will be ready soon". They were careless. Housekeeping response was also slow.

This is our second stay at the Lake Palace. The restaurant was closed and temporarily moved to the Banquet hall. Considering that December is peak season, and we were not informed about the ongoing renovation work, the room rates were peak season rates.
