This is basically a pay buy the week meth hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I have traveled all over the country and stayed in many hotels. This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The lobby looks wonderful but thats where they spend all their money. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!

This place is a hole. There was a black headed with lady on meth working the front desk. The room was old, nasty, and dirty comforter. People hanging off the balcony as you go to your room. It dont matter what happens there is no refunds. If you value your life and belongs dont stay here.

I was a little leary when I was looking for motels in Independence. On one website American Inn was given negative reviews. I was very satisfied with my stay there. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I am planning on going back there this week.
