The cottage give you a very English feel about the place and I must say that the garden area and the interiors are very tastefully and carefully done. But other than that, there is nothing else to it -- the rooms end as soon as they begin -- they are like a little nest. A few other things - The... More

Loved the place... We were almost alone in the house, so it was as if it were our house... We were received by the employees, who offered us a tea, which was heaven, cause it was heavy raining outside... The house is beautiful, old furniture, big rooms... Nice kitchen (you can see it when you go upstairs... would like to... More

We didn't find that the guest house lived up to the reviews that we read before booking. Compared to other accommodation we experienced in Sri Lanka, this was overpriced. The rooms were cramped because of too much furniture, the water pressure (lack of) in the bathroom meant that showering was almost out of the question. Neither we nor the owner... More

We were very lucky to get this entire bungalow to ourselves for two nights and we had absolutely no complaints. From the minute we arrived, Mozart and the cooks took such good care of us, they even made us breakfast parcels for our Horton Plains trip. The rooms are lovely with high ceilings are unique decorations. There is adequate heating... More

Whilst spending a couple of days in Nuwara Eliya we dicided to stay at this guesthouse after searching on the internet. The picture of the guesthouse on the website is a true representation of what you see when you arrive very picturesque and old english. We were greeted by the manager and provided with a cup of tea and how... More

Stayed at this hotel one night in November 2012. The hotel is extremely cosy and nice. The staff is very hospitable and looked into all our needs. The hotel offers no view, but the location is very fine due to 5 minutes walk to the city. The rooms are very clean and cosy. I would recommend this htel for a... More

Booked two rooms, but was pleasantly surprised when they offered the 2 Room Annex instead when we turned up. The location, though, being in the town itself, offers no views. But the accommodation makes up for it as the town is just a 5 minute walk away. The rooms were comfortable, warm, bathroom clean and hot water aplenty. Staff was... More

My family and I spent a few days at Cocoon Hills during April' 12. We loved it! The bungalow is extremely cozy, staff were extremely hospitable and looked into all our needs and we found ourselves totally refreshed & relaxed. Heating was good. Very spacious for a big family. Meals were great! Thank you Cocoon Hills for the memorable experience.
