After arriving we realized that the hotel is nothing like it's portrayed in the picture. The exterior was overly dirty and outdated. But we choose to deal with that hoping our room would be more welcoming. It was 40 degrees when we arrived at the hotel yet, the heater was left off in the room & it was colder inside... More

Great location, with VERY friendly staff, from the Hotel to the bar. Perfect place for us to stay...We stay here every year and they know us by name when we call or show up, never had a bad experience. 2 thumbs up to Alan and Gina!!!!

After a great day of horse races and shopping, the centrally located Howard Johnson Express, Hot Springs, was was icing on the cake. Clean and comfortable, and easy access. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Check-in and out was a breeze. As an added feature Phil's Resturant is located at ground level just a few steps from the lobby. Thanks!
