I found this small bnb (six rooms)here and in VRBO. The comments were good, price seemed right($125/nite,total) so we booked. We arrived in early evening and both our hosts Harry and Don helped us unload our luggage and introduced us to Suite 1, one of the two front suites on main floor. It was very nice with lots of antiques,... More

Visited with family over the Easter weekend. We were disappointed that the hosts were not present for the majority of our stay, as the reviews here spoke so highly of them. They were only present fleetingly during our stay, I suspect in their absence the service, attention to detail and ambiance as described in other reviews was missing. For us... More

Don and Harry and the girls, their adorable and very well behaved dachshunds, made our stay memorable. We enjoyed our very quiet garden room in this historic home, the great "help yourself" breakfasts. It was fun meeting the other guest as they wandered into the kitchen while we were choosing between home made scones or quiche, coffee cakes or just... More

We absolutely loved staying here. The hosts go out of their way to please, and are very knowledgeable of all things Nawlins. The rooms and furnishings are eclectic and very tasteful. The home is old, 1836 I believe, so it's not the Hilton, but it's way better. You will feel at home as if you are visiting the home of... More

We all know how tricky it is to choose the right place to call home away from home when we travel! I was in NoLa for my 50th with friends and Maison de Lagniappe proved to be ideal for our small group. Don and Harry are amazing hosts, and will make your visit one you will not forget. You will... After spending weeks reviewing options for lodging in New Orleans we finally settled on Maison de Lagniappe, a Bed-and-Breakfast historic home in the Creole neighborhood of Marigny. And we have no regrets! This is the perfect spot if you love live music, enjoy walking, and want to feel like you are staying in the real New Orleans. Don and Harry... More

Nice, clean room within walking distance of French Quarter. Friendly, helpful owners. Had a wonderful stay and would stay there again.

We really enjoyed staying at Maison de Lagniappe: we've normally stayed in hotels in New Orleans, but were looking for something more unconventional and fun -- we definitely found it! This B&B is a fun way to go, definitely more social, and it felt more "authentic" - especially because we were trying to experience the real New Orleans. Here's the... More

We were so happy that we chose Maison de Lagniappe for our week in New Orleans. We chose a larger suite for our stay so we could spread out a bit and were very comfortable. The room had a/c which was very much appreciated during the "hotter than normal" spring weather. The house was clean, quiet and ecclectically decorated, including... More

I labeled this family, only because I had my two children (21 & 22) with me. We went to New orleans to celebrate a couple of 21st birthdays, I worried at first that the kids would think this was too far away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street, but I was wrong they loved it. It was my... More
