We were a little concerned when we read the reviews, but our room was excellent. We got a King Suite on the 15th floor, and the room was new, comfortable, very clean and very spacious. The only slight knock was the bathroom was a little small. Just thought with all that extra room for the suite, maybe making the bathroom... More

Six of us needing one room, 3 beds. Only hotel that offers this in New Orleans. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfrotable rooms, and nice comp continental breakfast. Not right in the heart of the French Quarter but the street car stops right in front of the hotel. For the money and our needs, this was prefect. Only downfall... More

This is an old hotel with quirks and character. During peak times (ex. Mardi Gras), it costs a fortune as do all hotels in NOLA. Most of the time, the rates are more reasonable. If you want a brand new hotel with no character, you will either be in a distant suburb or need to pay a small fortune. I... More

I work for this brand but in a different state, and I came down to New Orleans very scared from all the reviews that I had read about this property here on Trip Advisor. I can honestly say that everything people were saying I did not experience. We weren't in the hotel much but to just sleep and to gather... More

My fiancee and I visited New Orleans for the first time and stayed at Clarion Inn & Suites. We had very little knowledge of the city, other than that we wanted to be close to the French Quarter. Having read some prior reviews, we were wondering what to expect with the hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was,... More

My mom and I stayed here for one night during the NCAA Final Four because our cruise was leaving the next day out of the Port of New Orleans. The hotel, while being on Canal Street, is further away from the "touristy" area (Bourbon Street, Harrah's Casino, etc), but my mom and I are walkers so it did not bother... More

I was there during the NCAA final four. The hotel was decent...3 stars. The room was clean and spacious, but the shower didn't work that well. They kept saying they would send someone up, but they never did. Breakfast was good...with lots of choices from cereal, yogurt to eggs, french toast. We were close to the superdome (easy walk about... More

We got off a cruise ship and came to the hotel at 8:30am, not expecting to check in, but to store our luggage and sight-see for a while. The lady clerk told us we could not check in until 2pm. Ok, we stored our luggage and decided to hang out in the lobby because the weather was bad(rainy/cold/windy). Nice lobby,... More

There are pros and cons to this Clarion Inn. First, the good ... it's within walking distance of both the French Quarter and Bouron St. as well as the Superdome, so a good location as far as proximity goes. We were happy with the room set up ... basically a suite with a seperate bedroom and living area. The bed... More

I stayed here during the SEC tournament. Virtually every hotel downtown was booked, but the rate here was comparatively reasonable to the few that had availability. After the Saturday night, the rate was very reasonable. The good: -Reasonable price, only around $100 on Sunday and Monday nights. -Room and common areas were clean -Room was a reasonable size -Having a... More
