Hotel has a great location, close to everything, staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful in every way. The room was clean and spacious enough, although the maid showed up very late every day. The hotel graciously accommodated a late check out. Be extra careful by the pool though, the floor was extremely slippery and I almost fell multiple time even... More

Service was great, everything about this hotel was clean and service-oriented. The concierge was very helpful. This hotel has a great location offering walking distance to Everything!

This hotel right on Canal Street is the best location around! You are near Burbon Street, Trolly cars, the River Walk and Harras...but it is quiet at night and you can get a great nights sleep! The room is a nice size VERY clean. The bathroom a little small be workable. The gym was GREAT with cold towls and the... More

This hotel provides the service and accommodations that you come to expect at a JW...rooms are comfortable, front desk staff go out of your way and plenty of opportunities to get a good drink and a bite to eat. With that said, we liked the location the best - quick walk to the heart of Bourbon Street, but set back... More

My Husband and I had always stayed in the Marriott across the street so were very surprised at how nice and quiet this hotel is. The other one was bedlam most of the time. Our friends stayed there and found the service and room not up to Marriott standards. The JW Marriott was very clean with wonderful rooms and service.... More

After a disappointing experience at the New Orleans Convention Center Marriott (you can see my review on that hotel too) we transferred to the JW Marriott for the remainder of our stay in Nola, which definitely helped make our overall experience in New Orleans more enjoyable. Location is great. It's on Canal Street, so you can access the street cars... More

i stayed at the Marriott earlier this month and could not have been more pleased! We were grateful in that we were able to immediately check-in to our room upon arrival although it was much earlier than the official check in time. The front desk employee, who handled the check-in, made us feel very welcome and gave us valuable information,... More

We stayed here over the weekend in May and were updgraded to a corner room which is spacious and well decorated, but not as luxurious as other JW's we have stayed at. However, the downside is that because of the layout of the rooms, there are four doors that are very close to each other and so the noise level... More

Been to New Orleans for business multiple times and stayed in various hotels including many in the Marriott chain. Agree this is the best one of the chain. Location is perfect in relation to the French Quarter. Not too close and not too far! What make this property stand out though is the club room. As a Marriott Platinum I... More

We have stayed at a number of the hotels in the Marriott chain in New Orleans on recent visits to the city for either Jazzfest of getting our daughter set up at Tulane. Although our preferred hotel in the past has been the downtown Courtyard, I wasn't able to book there on this recent trip and got a very discounted... More
