Very nice hotel. Very close to the French Quarter.
Stayed for a short visit in New Orleans, this hotel location is awesome, the hotel room is bit classic but still a JW Marriott standard. We found difficulties finding where the parking zone is (The lobby is heading to a small street, instead of main road). Overall, great night with great location. Love it
Pros:
1. Location is good: Near...

Great location on Canal St but don't use your GPS to get you there because the address will take you to the canal street entrance which has no parking. You need to go around the block to Commons to check-in and have the valet park your car ($35.00 per day). Check-in was flawless and fast and the staff was professional...

Overall, the room was only decent but for a high priced hotel the service was lacking.
After reserving a room for over $340/night and requesting a quiet room, most hotel where I have stayed will typically honor this request and given the best room available for that same category. The JW Marriott hotel in New Orleans was the first hotel...

My husband and I stayed at the JW Marriott hotel in New Orleans during the Jazz Fest. The location is terrific and the hotel itself is wonderful. The rooms are spacious and the service is great. Everyone was very helpful. We will stay there again on our next trip.
My husband and I stayed at the J W Marriott March 4-8. We had a great time and the whole staff was a big part of it. Everyone was so helpful and attentive to all details of our stay. I do want to point out two great employees, Kim at the front desk and Alfred at the door. They were...

There must be some rooms at this hotel that have been updated and others that have not. Our 23rd floor king-bed room was beautiful and not tiny by any means. The decor was modern; the bath was almost all marble-tiled, floors and walls; and the bed was the most comfortable of any hotel I've stayed in. Our view of the...

This is not what I would consider a JW
Rooms are clean but dated. Bathroom is tiny. Hotel staff is very friendly. There was no refrigerator in the room. We like to have one to put cold water ect in the room I was surprised, so I called the front desk and they told me they do not have them...

I recently stayed at this hotel for a conference. It is a very nice hotel, perhaps not quite as luxurious as other JW's I have visited in other cities, but the location couldn't have been better. It was close enough to the conference center to be able to walk it, and just a short walk from the French Quarter and...

Had a five day business stay at the hotel in April 2012 and found the place immaculately clean, roomy and the service very good. This is certainly a place that is interested in making your stay as comfortable as can be and deserves every star it has earned. But ... certain things bothered me. It seemed kind of odd that...
