We liked it here. Stayed 7 days and enjoyed the plaza very much. Staff was wonderful. Room was clean and comfortable. Could go to roof top and see for miles or set in the garden. Washers and dryers were no charge. The garden district was beautiful. I would go back for sure.

We stayed 5 days over Easter 2012 in a one bedroom suite. The hotel is in the lovely Garden District of New Orleans and having the trolley stop right at our front door is a real bonus. The Avenue Plaza offers very comfortable accommodations in a great location. The St. Charles streetcar stops right in front of the hotel every 10-15 minutes during the day and takes you to the heart of downtown and the French Quarter. Several good restaurants are located within walking distance and the Garden District is also only a short walk.

Great home base to the Greater NOLA area. The front desk and porters were super nice and extremely helpful. The valet parking system works great.
