I thought this hotel was too far from Bourbon Street but I was wrong. It's two blocks away. The Quarter is actually pretty small. The hotel was fine in every way, vintage but redone, clean, nice bed, perfect location, courteous help. View was certainly of the French Quarter, however, remember that is a view of the roofs, not a balcony... More

First, I am a travel agent. I have stayed in many hotels and this one was really bad. I was told they are renovating (though I saw NO renovating being done) and that was why we had to go up two different elevators and a "maze" of hallways to get to our room. The hotel clerk was okay but the... More

Great rates, but during our stay their renovations were going on. The front desk did not tell us that the Jack Hammer would be renovating the rooms above during the day. The noise was continuous for 5 hours and 2 days. Continental Breakfast was Orange Juice, Coffee, Water, Prepackaged Sara Lee Roll, Bananas and apples. This in a city where... More

I stayed on a business trip at this lovely small hotel. It is connected to the Ritz-Carlton but far less expensive with all of the amenities. The rooms are classic NOLA--drapes, antique furniture, good linens on the bed and towels are soft and fluffy. The lobby is confusing and you must get on two different elevators to get to the... More

Yes, the carpet and sheets in this hotel are well-loved, but it is CLEAN and in a great location. The place is quiet at night, which is a big bonus. I took advantage of the courtyard on the Ritz side to enjoy a restful and yummy mid-afternoon snack. You are right in front of the street car stops which will... More

We just spent 5 nights at the Iberville Suites in the French Quarter. It was a great location with really pleasant staff and a very comfortable suite. Yes, it is in need of renovation that is starting later this month, but the bed and amenities were very comfortable. An added bonus was the continental breakfast each morning from 6:30 to... More

This is not fancy hotel, but it's also not as crappy as many of these reviews make it sound. The hotel is in the same building as the Ritz Carlton and shares many amenities, notably the excellent health club and spa. The pool is a small, exercise lap pool, and not a family or party pool, by the way. The... More

We had a very pleasurable stay at the Iberville Suites. The location was perfect. One block off of Bourbon and walking distance to just about everything else you wanted to do. The rooms were OK, nothing fancy and probably need a little updating. Carpets were stained and the TV's are old. The rooms were very clean though. The bed was... More

The suites have a certain boxy feel, and the bathroom was a bit small, but overall we loved the Iberville Suites. These are true suites with separate bedrooms and sitting rooms. Wet bar and refrigerator are included. Beautiful building, beautiful interior, polite, competent staff. Everything was clean, quiet and very comfortable. (we were on 9th floor -- don't know if... Great location near Bourbon Street but far enough away for a good nights sleep. Could use an update. Tv is boxy. Carpet is worn. But for a night or two of debauchery it works. The towel rack fell off the shower curtain was sagging. The hair dryer did not work. Did I say great location? Maintenance fixed it all and... More
