The best thing about the Pere Marquette is the location. It is one block out of the French Quarter across Canal Street from Bourbon Street. So its close to everything, but also very quiet. We never heard anyone else in either of our two stays there. The rooms are medium to small, but they are nice and clean. We stayed... More

Fantastic hotel - great service and in a fantastic location. This hotel is very close to the French Quarter, among various shopping stores/mall. I stayed on the 19th FL - would recommend this to everyone as it offers a 'special lounge' that's always stocked with treats, drinks, etc. I would definitely stay here again!

Our 3 night stay was wonderful. The room was not large, but we didn't spend much time there. The pool area was adequate, and was the fittness room. We had breakfast at Mila's and it was very good. The clerks, doormen, and other employees were so friendly and helpful. Remember, this is a very old building that has been renovated... More

This hotel is one block off Canal Street, a great location to get to the French Quarter. The staff is excellent. Room 1908 was on a corner with four windows. Great bed as with all Marriotts.

I knew that the room would be small when I booked this hotel, but having been to New Orleans many times I also knew that we would be spending little time in the room. We were pleasantly surprised that though the room is quite petite it somehow managed not to be cramped. The location was perfect, walking distance to the... More

First I must say that I truly enjoy the Renaissance Hotel chain. I love the intimate vibe of the Renaissance with it being an upscale chain of boutique hotels: big city amenities with a small town vibe. I knew what we were getting when I booked a "small room" at the Pere Marquette in New Orleans but I figured since... More

Rooms are clean and updated. Gym is small but adequate and uncrowded. Mila restaurant (in lobby) has excellent food. I had a salad and seared tuna. Valet is pricey...even for Nola.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in April. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little off the beaten path, but only one block off Canal and Bourbon. If you want to be away from all the craziness, this is a good choice. The hotel is clean and the rooms are pleasant. We stayed... More

My husband and I spent one night here during the first Jazz Fest weekend of 2012 (before moving to a vacation club condo), and it was my first time in a CBD (vs. French Quarter) hotel for the many Jazz Fests I've attended in the past. I have absolutely no regrets, and would stay here again. Though having a vintage... More
