4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 May 2012 NEW

Our room was large and had everything - refrigerator, huge soaking tub, separate shower, great TV, sitting area. A great view of the bay. The casino is in a separate building, but it has many dining options, including a 24 hour Fuddruckers. I'm not sure why a previous reviewer took a cab to the French Quarter, as it is a... More

I initially had a reservation at Harrah's but change of date left no availability. Stayed a block up at the Sheraton and it was equally unimpressive. But as for Harrah's. First coming up to the hotel from valet, the doors were missing handles. These are large, heavy, metal doors in the theme of the hotel and many of the doors... More

We stayed for three nights in a standard king room, 1315, with city-view. The view was nice, but would have been better if not partially blocked by the Loew's Hotel just across the street. Basically, I would rate this hotel room as excellent, completely comparable to other Harrah's hotels in which we have stayed. Spacious bathroom with separate potty closet;... More

This was in a good location except that we had to catch a trolley or taxi each time we wanted to go to the French Quarter which was every day. We had to do 3 rooms before we were somewhat satisfied with our surroundings. We paid a lot through Southwest Vacations and really expected a decent room with some view.... More

My wife and I stayed at Harrah's New Orleans for six nights, April 29th through May 5th (checkout). Everything about our stay was top notch. We stayed in a standard room which was very nice. All the employees were very professional and very friendly. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Ive stayed here a few times and never a negative experience. This past stay I actually had a slight complaint...the light bulb went out and the fridge was wobbling. This is the biggest complaint I've ever had. It's pricey but you're gonna get what you pay for.

This property is squeaky clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. In fact when we entered the lobby- there is a greeter who does greets and welcomes every person- whether yuo have just checked in or not. the housekeeping staff was so very attentive to our needs. I wish we had asked for a room facing the river- but... More

Excellent value for the price. Staff was very much on top of any way they could be of help to guests needs. A smile from all who greeted you. I loved the room layout and there was plenty of space in drawers and closets.

This is the first review I have written about Harrah's but I have stayed at the property at least forty times. It is by far my favorite hotel in New Orleans. Of course the hotel is tied in with the casino and comped rooms and discounted rooms make my decisions to stay here much easier, but the truth is that... More
