I like the idea of the smaller boutique hotels, but you never know what you are going to get. Our room is near the main entrance and there are three tables and a coffee station out there, so it is a place to gather and talk. So the fact that we can hear everything that people are saying is a... More

We booked our 2 rooms here nearly a year in advance to make sure that we had a nice place to stay, at a reasonable price, for our upcoming trip to New Orleans. When we arrived it took several minutes before anybody let us into the lobby, as the outside door is kept locked an can only be opened with... More

This hotel is about four blocks from Bourbon Street, right near the entrance to the Louis Armstrong park. It's far enough away from the chaos of Bourbon that you don't get much noise, although the walls are pretty thin so you will hear your neighbors from time to time. The rooms are small, but very clean and safe. The hotel... More

Location: the neighbourhood is a residential street with typical French Quarter Buildings. It’s generally a quiet street, but you still get noisy people on the road now and again, and as the building has thin walls you can hear everything that’s happening outside. We stayed in the Marie Laveaux Annex and had a room facing the road, so it was... More

We stayed in the one bedroom queen suite in the Marie Laveau annex during JazzFest. The room was spacious, clean, convenient, and a very good value for JazzFest week. It was half a block away from a bus stop which went directly to JazzFest and only a couple blocks away from the French Quarter which made it a quieter choice.... More

Room was a bit small, but definitely clean and comfortable for a place to rest your head at night. The rooms in the back by the courtyard are the best location. Courtyard was pleasant. Close enough to quickly walk into the activities of the French Quarter but far enough off the "hub-bub" to leave any noise behind. Definitely will return... More

The Inn on St. Ann was just a terrific place to stay for us. I was a little worried about the room being too small and having no window, but even with a king-size bed it was spacious enough and felt fine. Bed extremely comfortable, everything was very clean. We were downstairs right across from the coffee/fruit and except for... More

If you are looking for simple place to stay in a great location that is very reasonable rates, then I would recommend St. Ann's for the visitor to New Orleans. The location is three block from the noise and active of Burbon St. but far enough away to be quiet and set in a residential neighborhood that felt very safe.... More

I'm not a big fan of cookie cutter hotels in a place as unique as New Orleans; so the French Quarter Guest Houses immediately appealed to me. The fact there were recent upgrades also increased my interest as I have experienced some other character properties in the Quarter that were not well maintained or that didn't live up to their... The remote control needed a new battery. I went to the front desk. No one was there for 2 hours; two nights in a row. I called the phone number for the hotel. No answer. Staff needs to staff a hotel for safety's sake. The room is non-smoking, but it's next to the balcony and above the court yard where... More
