Gave it average rating, but would have given it a good rating if that was a choice. Very good is a stretch. Have stayed in NOLA on number of occasions for both business and pleasure trips. This was my first stay here, which was far from my first choice, but other nearby hotel rooms (not suites) were booked or available... More

I've stayed here a number of times. A great location nearby everything but off the beaten track. Everyone has always been helpful and friendly. The rooms are large and bright. My only complaint is it can be quite a walk from the lobby to some of the rooms. This is my home in New Orleans.

My tour company contracted to reserve over 20 rooms for our stay in New Orleans. I am not sure what occurred with the check-in procedures at the hotel, but the wait for rooms was longer than expected. We did have reservations weeks ahead. Even so..... The rooms were clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Breakfast was well planned, plentiful, and convenient.... More

Not sure if it always offers this kind of value, but we had a great deal for two rooms including valet parking. Rooms are spaceous, but don't have direct daylight acces (only through the hotels 'atrium'). Nice medium-sized property, okay breakfast, and great location. Although my (then) 75 yr old dad isn't much of a walker, he didn't mind the... More

Glad everyone enjoyed their stay! The location is the perfect mix of everything being within a short walk, but still out of earshot. You really do get to enjoy all the sights, but still come home to a quiet and comfortable nights sleep! The only note I will add is that some rooms do have atrium facing windows, while others... Though I have been to New Orleans before, this was my first stay at the Country Inn and Suites in the city. The Inn is in a historic building in walking distance of the entire French Quarter. The location and responsive and helpful staff were my first hints that this stay would be memorable. All my questions were answered thoroughly.... More

Your tagline for the review made me really happy! We are always shooting to give a home away from home experience to guests. To us that means really going the extra mile to make sure everything goes perfect and that you are always greeted by friendly faces. It sounds like this was very much that type of experience. I know... More

This hotel was the perfect location - just 2 blocks from the French Quarter. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room, large and comfortable. When we reserved, we booked a room with a king size bed but when we checked in we were told a king wouldn't be available until the next night. We took a room with... More

What a wonderful surprise upon arriving at Country Inn and Suites in New Orleans. The Hotel, the surroundings, and especially the staff helped to make this trip one to remember. Everything about this Hotel was well done with a cheerful "Glad you're here, how can we help you?" approach to our entire stay. Rooms were well appointed and retained the... More

My wife and I really enjoyed our first trip to NOLA in the beginning of May. Country Inn & Suites was a pleasant surprise. It's only two or three blocks away from the French Quarter and is walking distance to pretty much everything. It's nice being a few blocks away because the hotel was really very quiet and we were... Glad to hear you had such a great trip to New Orleans! We are definitely lucky to have some absolute gems on our staff. They can turn a great trip into one that has memories to last a lifetime. I apologize about what I am guessing was an honest miscommunication with the housekeeper. I will be sure to give a... More

I will preface this by saying we visited during Mardis Gras and probably would experience noise in most hotels. However, the noise level was so loud that I couldn't sleep a wink. Our room overlooked the main lobby/common area, and I was sleeping on the pull-out couch that was near the door. My wife and son slept in the bedroom... More

My Husband and I spent a weekend staying in New Orleans. This hotel was nice, close walking distance to everything and comfortable. The rooms were extremely small and the walls are paper thin. I could hear everything going on in the hallways, by the elevators and the rooms on each side of us all night! Next time we visit, we... More

We are sorry to hear, although it sounds like you had a pretty good time in New Orleans, things were not perfect. Though we are in a nice, quiet area - occasionally some noise does find its way back to the property. If you ever have that (or any) issue, we definitely encourage you to contact us to see what...
