We were there for a six day large conference. At a very attractive group rate we had been assigned a large two-room suite on 33rd floor. I was stuck in the elevator between the 10th floor and waited 20 minutes for help to come and manually open the doors. I was told the power went out. The hotel was not willing to compensate me for the trouble. They wanted to give me a 50.00 credit on a 250. per night stay. WOWW...

Marriott has a great location situated just at the begnning (end) of the French Quarter, right on streetcar route, and a 5 min walk away from the river and Harrah's Casino.
