This place is amazing! My friend and I brought our beaus here for jazz fest and to celebrate our 30th birthdays. We were not too sure what to expect, but I can say without a doubt that this hotel far exceeded any expectation we could have had. first, the location is PERFECT!! Right in the heart of the French Quarter,... More

If you come to NO to enjoy party-like atmosphere, but still want to have quiet place to rest - this is the place. 1/2 block to craziness of Bourbon St, but on quiet street with very quiet courtyard. Rooms are big, comfortable beds, renovated bathrooms, so we were very comfortable. But it is definitely not faceless Holiday Inn - very... More

We arrived on thur night and from that time on we felt like this was our home, I can not say enough about the staff, they are all just the best, but I would like tell anyone who is thinking about staying here, it's not like any other place you have stayed its like being at home with family, We... The Olivier House is not a cookie-cutter, corporate Hotel. It does not offer Room Service or a fitness center, and the Hotel's one elevator is, literally, tiny. What it lacks in modern amenities, the Hotel more than makes up for in one of a kind charm. There are only 40 or so rooms, and many are distinctly different (we have... More

We stayed here with our kids, 14 and 12 for spring break. When I walked in this charming hotel it felt like going back in time. Tall ceilings, beautiful old chandeliers, beautiful courtyard with stone floors and lush greenery. The staff at the reception desk were friendly, knowledgeable about the area and helpful. You can't beat the location on Toulouse... More

The location is excellent. You will find this gem within a block of Bourbon on Toulouse St, which is also one of the problems with noisy neighbors. The owners have done an excellent job in making the rooms functional for guests. From lofts to flats the rooms are unique. I would suggest that you check out your room before you... More

Although the website showed lovely rooms and trip advisor rated it well, we were in room 305-the room from hell. We were offered the bridal suite but it was on the bourbon street side which we knew would be noisy and it had NO shower only a tub. Room 305 had a shower so we said ok. Here's the list:... More

The Olivier House has many unique rooms which are quite unusual. We also have one or 2 which are more standard. We are specific as well as forthcoming about the accommodations available at the time of booking, especially when booking our most basic and least expensive room, room 305. It was unfortunate that at the time this guest booked this... More

We stayed here a few day while attending a conference and felt like I was staying in Old world Europe somewhere. Just a great experience and absolutely a must for those that love old historic buildings. The lobby or great room sitting area is quiet and very warm feel to it. You could curl up in one of the chairs... More

Olivier House Hotel is a charming antebellum residence which would appeal to those who like a sense of history. The rooms are quirky, though have comfortable accommodations. Beware of the plumbing - it can be unpredictable! The location of the hotel is excellent and within walking distance to Bourbon Street and the other attractions New Orleans has to offer. The... More

I stayed for 7 nights in February in one of the one bedroom suites. The location is great, half a block off of Bourbon St but very quiet. It's an old building so it's not the same as a sterile chain hotel, but this place has character and charm. Very helpful staff, and I've already got reservations for a long... More
