Stayed 5 nights here for business. Overall very nice. It is one block from Bourbon Street, so you could hear some street noise at night but not too bad. I am really glad that I did not choose a hotel right on Bourbon - may have been too crazy and loud into the early morning hours. The hotel is 125... More

Decent hotel...great curb appeal...beds were comfortable and close to everything. We stayed on the 4th floor and could hear noise all night...I guess dont stay here if you are looking for a peaceful night of sleep in the middle of the quarter. Its a convenient location but honestly dont think its really worth $300 a night especially if you are... More

This was our first visit to New Orleans. This hotel provides the best base to explore the French Quarter as it has just the right character and ambiance. Everything is located nearby and yet the hotel provides quiet sophistication away from the bustle of Bourbon Street. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and all the staff were friendly... Recently we had the opportuntiy to visit New Orleans and chose to stay at the Monteleone. Our stay was wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent- answering questions about locations and assisting us in retrieving items left in our vehicle. We had a great time and will return.

We decided to stay at the Hotel Monteleone as a second honeymoon based on the experiences of other travellers and a recommendation from our travel agent. It proved to be an inspired choice. Right from when we checked in our whole stay was perfect. We arrived after midnight when the last leg of our travel from NZ via San Francisco... More

We spent a week at the Hotel Monteleone during Jazz Fest. A wonderful location just far enough from the craziness of Bourbon Street, surrounded by wonderful restaurants. The rooftop pool was a little oasis of calm and relaxation during the morning and again after dark. I booked a mani/pedi on our 2nd day and found their spa to be quiet... More

Great hotel recommended to us by a LA local...rooftop pool was relaxing. The room was clean, bed was more comfortable than my own and the service was impeccable. The carousel bar is worth the wait for a seat! Will stay here each time I come back to NOLA.

This boutique hotel had a wonderful location, moments from Bourbon Street. The rooms are small, but beautifully decorated. The rooftop pool was delightful, as was the Carousel Bar.

This hotel has been around for a long time, but you would never know it. Right in the French Quarter, 2 blocks from Bourbon street (yet quiet inside), minutes from all the best restaurants, Walgreens next store for snacks and personal items. Fantastic rotating bar in the lobby - big and live music. Great drinks. Roof has a pool (but... More

The Hotel Monteleone is centrally located in the French Quarter and walking distance to New Orleans' central business district. The hotel has been recently renovated with granite countertops and marble floors in the guest room bathrooms. My "standard" room was relatively small with an even smaller bathroom, but adequate for a solo one night business traveller. I liked the fact... More
