I booked this hotel as a mystery French quarter boutique hotel deal. I was nervous after reading reviews. I had no problems. The elevators are a little slow and rooms are tiny but who stays in the room anyway. There is an extra $10 per day amenities fee. We parked in a Public parking lot beside the hotel for $66... More

We stayed 4 nights with a group of 6 rooms. This was a great little hotel in a very nice part of town. Very helpful desk attendants, and we also rented a small party room for a family celebration one evening. Housekeeping was prompt and courteous when we asked for items. Staff was very helpful, rooms were comfortable and clean,... More

I was a bit nervous about booking my stay at the Queen & Cresent, but the price won me over. When my husband and I got there they put us in a small, dark, motel-felling room with a view of a cement wall. We asked to change rooms, one with a bigger bed and a view. Boy did they provide!!... More

Front desk clerk gave room away. Took money first then proceeds to tell us there is nothing she (juana) can do. Very very rude. Cursed at us and never apologized for any inconvience.

Thank you for your comments. It is very disheartening that you still felt compelled to leave these comments after the delightful conversation we had. When you assured me that everything was fine and even said thank you for having this conversation, I really believed that we ended on a positive note, even laughing with one another. I do hope that... More

I obsessed over EVERY review deciding where to stay on our 20th anniversary trip to New Orleans. I am also a penny pinching librarian, so I could not afford uber luxury. I needed something within walking distance as we were flying, and so the Queen and Crescent fit the bill. We had NO problems with our room, however, we were... More

Don't be fooled by the "boutique hotel" label; the Queen & Crescent is basically a Motel 6 with a little more character cause it's in an old building. I stayed here with two friends. After checking in, we found that neither our room nor bathroom had a trash can, the toilet took a suspiciously long time to flush (even with... More

We just spent 4 nights at the Queen and Crescent. We arrived for the French Quarter Festival and stayed through the first 2 days of Fleet Week. For the price, this was a good choice though it was not great. The problems were not major however. The good: location, cleanliness, comfort, service, haunted(?). As for location, it is a 2... More

I read all these other reviews and wondered, "Did I stay in the same hotel or are these people really demanding and hard to please?" We arrived late, gave the car to the valet, checked and went to our room. No muss, no fuss. It was very nice, clean roomy enough room for a 100 year old hotel. We went... More

Unfortunately my experience with the Queen and Crescent was similar to those of the previous negative reviews. When I checked in, I was informed of the additional "Mandatory amenities package", which should have just been included in the price of the room. It's an underhanded way of squeezing a few more dollars out of the tourists. When I went to... More

Thank you for your comments. Sorry to hear that you had a less than ideal experience with us. The Lite continental breakfast is served from 7:30-9:30 am, and is not replenished after 9:30. It does contain assorted muffins and pastries, assorted cereals, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, coffee, milk, and juice. There is also a toaster with a delicious wheat berry... More
