Beautiful, luxurious hotel in the thick of gritty New Orleans. Room was clean, beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. Staff was helpful, and curteous. December 2011 I stayed at the Royal Sonesta and was impressed with the beauty and hospitality at this hotel. Especially since it was Christmas time the place was decorated to the max. Irvin Mayfield's jazz club offers the best jazz Nolaz has to offer. It's nice to access Bourbon St. and yet be able to quickly dip into your hotel.
