It's not easy to build a 5 star hotel adjacent to one of Europe's most boisterous apres ski bars but the owners have just about manged to keep the two separate. If you want to have a quick dance on the tables at the Mooserwirt there is a private entrance. Hotel construction is to a high standard, food and staff... More

Returned from St Anton end of January, fantastic skiing as always, from a first class resort although any first timers will struggle particularly at the end of the day when runs home cut up pretty badly. As for the hotel we stayed 3 in a room on the side plenty big enough for 3 ,all had single beds no austrian twin... More

THE GOOD: The best thing about the hotel is the free dinner included in your stay. The food is delicious, beautifully prepared and presented. I've worked for 3 great chefs and am a bit of a foodie and I was honestly impressed by the dining experience because it was much more upscale than I was expecting. The Italian waitstaff is... More

The Hoboken, NJ Ski club (about 48 people mostly 25-35 yrs old) stayed at the Moosekreuz from Jan 21-Jan 29. We were on a package with room, breakfast and dinner nightly. GOOD THINGS: Friendly staff, great food for dinner convenient to the Mooserwirt (fantastic Apres Ski!), bar prices were reasonable(Wheat beer 4.5 Euro and Gluwine about the same), the bus... More

I stayed here for a week-long skiing holiday with family. The hotel is a brisk 15 minutes' walk uphill from the village but thankfully there is an excellent shuttle-bus service and you can leave your ski gear next to the main lift so it's not a big problem. My room was small and a bit 'tired' but comfortably furnished. The... More

My wife and I booked this hotel for a ski holiday on the basis of several good trip advisor reviews. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The rooms were clean, although the bed was rather short, the TV tiny and the furnishings were generally rather 'tired'. Our room overlooked the main road and was noisy... More

We stayed here 29 Dec 07 to 5 Jan 08. The hotel looks like it does on the site but could do with a bit of TLC. It's a bit out from St Anton but there's a courtesy bus and the driver's very friendly. The food was the best we've ever had and we got to try things we might... More

Stayed at the hotel for a week in mid december. In short, the hotel was always clean and taken care of, (once even saw a housemaid working at 9pm at night!). The food was excellent (5 course dinner every night which was looked forward to every day!) The staff were amazing, always friendly and willing to assist you in anyway... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Mooserkreuz in March 2007 and had a fantastic time. The staff were very friendly and the food was divine. The hotel itself is very typically Austrian and quite dated in decor but spotlessly clean. While we were there the weather was perfect skiiing weather., which made the holiday even more perfect. The... More
