Nice hotel with a well appointed 2 bedroom apartment. Not many facilities close by but the Roberts Bus got us into town every day for shopping, drinking or food. Local Expedia Expert was pretty good and we booked our helicopter tour through him and saved $80 or so. Would stay here again.

The staff is very nice and accommodating. Our condo was clean and the pool and hot tub were perfect. The only downside was the surprise 20% tax that wasn't disclosed over the phone. The location is nice and relaxing.

We had been to Kona twice before and our first choice of housing was filled and this was a second choice, and we had lower expectations. To our surprise we were wrong and our condo was absolutely wonderful. We found the condo very clean and the staff keep it that way with clean towels and a daily cleaning. The view... More

Stayed here in April, Room 109. Relaxing and convenient location. Easy to catch trolley bus which stops at the entrance and at only $2 per trip, is inexpensive for transport. Cheerful concierge at Activities desk, Chad told us about a variety of places and ttours, then arranged our pickups and all details. Great service - but may have moved him... More

Our two weeks here in Feb/Mar were most enjoyable. The property is well kept and maintained. The grounds are very nice. The big plus here is the small man made beach that is between the pool and the ocean. Very nice for those days when you don't want to go searching for a beach. There is no ocean swimming here,... We spent 8 days at Aston Kona. Found the location very convenient. We booked the 2 bedroom condo which was spacious clean and convenient. Had two twin beds in one room with an adjoining bath - perfect for the kids. Also had a pull out couch in the living room. Master bedroom was large with a large bathroom and closet... More

We spent 6 nights at Kona by the Sea at the beginning of April. Even though it probably was quite booked, we seemed to have the place to ourselves. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. Parking is convenient, and Kailua is about 2 miles away also with plenty of parking. There is no beach, but the location appeared to... More

We are just. finishing up a week on the Big Island - at the Aston Kona. The location is great -far enough out of town to feel more secluded and the grounds/views are wonderful. The staff is very helpful -even brought up a bottle of wine when we first arrived because I mentioned it was my birthday. We ate breakfast... More

We stayed on March 22nd in a 2 BR Oceanfront Room for 1 night. It was really nice and had a nice view. The kids enjoyed the pool and the property was nice and kept up. Nothing fancy, but I enjoyed our 1 night stay.
