This B&B is FILTHY! We checked in on May 5th, 2013 and left that night for the closest decent hotel. This place is a cross between a Motel 6 and a very run-down youth hostel. The room locks have all been jimmied so that you cannot lock your doors, we had to use a door wedge to make sure nobody... More

The b&b was simple and good value, we had a queen bed room with an en suite bathroom. There is a communal kitchen and living room with tv and pc you can use. There is free wifi but it didn't work in our room during the stay, we only managed to get it when we went up to Hans' house,... More

Hans and Marsha have big personalities and are extremely welcoming and warm. Located at a higher elevation with beautiful sunsets and a cooler temperature after spending a day at the beach was a huge plus aside from the excellent kona coffee from their farm which was a mainstay at breakfast

My wife and I spent three nights in the Mango Sunset B & B and we enjoyed it immensely. Our room, the Honu, was very modern and comfortable with high quality fixtures throughout. WiFi worked great and there is even a guest computer to use if you don't have your own. Hans and Marsha are great hosts and really enjoy... More

My husband and I stayed at Mango Sunset for four delightful nights and days. It is a unique experience to stay at a working coffee farm combined with a B & B. Hans and Marsha spoiled us with their outstanding estate grown, roasted on the premises, high quality organic Kona coffee each morning alongside fruit juices and fresh fruit salad... More

We stayed at this place for 3 days. The house is quite far in the hill but at least you're located in a quiet place. We rather appreciate our stay as we had a WIFI connection and a nice breakfast (thank you Tori!). For the first 2 days, we didn't meet Hans (he was ill) and we had some difficulties... More

Can't do much better than this at the price. Accomodations simple and clean. View right down to the ocean terrific. Chance to meet fun people. Morning sumptuous breakfast and tales from Hans priceless. Coffee of course wonderful and buy some red tea made from the beans. I'm not a tea drinker and loved it. Marsha and rest of staff very... I'll keep this short and sweet (or not so sweet): We had one night left unbooked on our BI visit to family. I had inquired at staying at the Mango Sunset on a Tuesday night via email. Three days later I called the B&B to follow up. I opened the conversation with a super friendly "just following up with my... More

This is the second "review" in eight years from a person who was NEVER our guest. I really wish TripAdvisor would put limitations on "reviews" (as they do for responses) that require respondents to have actual lodging experience at the establishment that they write about so that a "review" can't be based on one phone call coming from time zone... We stayed at Mango Sunset B & B for three days, and wish we'd stayed a week. Nice, clean, charming rooms... The ocean side view is well worth it. But on either side, you get a view of their lovely gardens. Breakfast was hearty and delicious with plenty of amazing organic coffee. The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable about... More

I can only state the positive because i have nothing to compare it with. Im glad we stayed here a few days and then a few days in a condo. We got the best of both worlds. The view was awesome, breakfast was filling, the conversation was very informative. We wanted to hear about the coffee industry, thats why we... More
