We spent 2 nights at Abode Well Cabins at the end of August and the accommodations were wonderful!!! The cabins were cozy and clean and sleeping with the rain hitting the tin roof was the best nights sleep on the trip. As an Alaska Travel Specialist I would recommend these cabins to anyone who who wants to experience the "Real... More

Best cabins we've ever stayed in. Cheaper than staying in town, but only 5 minutes away. No reason to stay in town, it's better to be isolated a little bit off in the woods in a cozy cabin. Clean and gorgeous, fluffy comforters, a little table, a grill and fire pit outside, coffeemaker and a tea maker. We had a... More

I would highly recommend the Abode Well cabins to anyone staying in the Seward area. We were there 8/29 - 9/2. My husband thought it would be cool to stay in a cabin in the woods so I found these, and we were both very glad. They are very convenient for driving into town, but at the same time they... More

The Abode Well cabins really exceeded our expectations. We were traveling with my parents and family friends from Spain and rented three cabins - all three couples were delighted with their cabins. The cabins were cute and clean and had plenty of space, including a small sitting area with a table and chairs and a coffee maker. Just perfect for... More

We were pleasantly surprised at how quaint these cabins were. Very clean and well kept. We slept 3 adults easily. Had coffee on the porch each morning and sat by a campfire each night. The office with washers and dryers was an added bonus! We went on a tour of Iditarod and met the manager of Abode Well Cabins. She... More

The Seavey family provides a great place to rest and rejuvenate after exploring the Seward area. The tour of the kennels was very interesting and fun--how can meeting world class athletes and holding their puppies not be fun? The cabin was incredibly clean and the workmanship was impressive. There is a perfect amount of space and vegetation between each so... More

Away from the hustle and bustle of the harbor sit these beautiful cozy cabins surrounded by foliage. Owned by the famous Seavey dog sled family, we stayed in cabin #3. With a small fridge and coffeemaker, there is a microwave in the office/laundry room to use just a few yards away. We did hear the 85 dogs bark at the... More

The cabin itself is custom made by a very skilled carpenter right down to the luggage racks. Beautiful, very well kept and clean. However they are basic... bed, bath and coffee maker (no Microwave or TV). They are placed in a beautiful wooded setting, but near by dog kennels and they barked all night long. Given that they are cabins... More

The pictures on the web do not do these cabins justice. They are large with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams in the bedroom area. Multiple windows look out on a forest setting less than 5 min from town. Everything clean and welcoming. A relaxing spot, and we loved it. This location is best if you have a car. Also, if... More

We stayed at Abode Well cabins for 2 nights prior to our cruise. We loved it, and will definitely be back if we are in Seward again. The cabins are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the surroundings and the quiet. Hearing the dogs at feeding time was also fun. The small thing was that no shampoo was provided. For those... More
