This motel shows a good deal of wear. Pros: Towels were surprisingly thick, plentiful and good. The location is convenient, but then Seward is hardly large enough for a bad location. Right off the road and near the docks (we walked to our cruise and saved $10.00 parking fee). Clean, comfortable beds. Small bathroom. One of the few places you can stay for under $100.00/night during high season. Helpful staff. I would stay here again.

Armed only with a rental car full of stuff we left Anchorage about 9pm in search of something to do. Our goal was Seward, but were not sure we'd make it all the way, for the event we got side tract en route. Older motel, superior room was fairly large, but lacked curtain on back window (20+ hours daylight in June). Motel is close to train depot, cruise terminal, and small boat harbor (fishing, restaurants, Kenai tours, shopping). Just finished a week long stay at the Marina motel while doing some fishing. I had to book several rooms for the party I was with and was happy to find out that they were very responsive via email. We arrived and the rooms were ready and very clean. Would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Needed a clean room to sleep one hight during our week long fishing trip. Matina Motel was the cheapest room I could find. We checked in late and all they had was one of their newly remodeled rooms.
