There are very few places to stay in Skagway so choice is limited. The MIle Zero B&B is in a pretty good location, a couple of roads back from the main street and we had a view of the mountains from the verandah around the house outside our room. The room was very big with a small en-suite and you... More

We bounced around from bed and breakfast to hotel to bed and breakfast, because the rooms were all booked when we were in Skagway. But we managed to get one night here. The rooms are clean and inviting, the owner, Tara, is joyful and accommodating. I had to dash out in the morning to catch a tour, and she was... More

Our first time in a B&B and this one has converted us. The separate entrance and ensuite bathroom made us feel like we had the privacy benefits of a motel/hotel while the common entrance with the friendly family members made us feel like we were welcomed parts of the household. A great experience all around.

Mile Zero is absolutely wonderful. Great location (but Skagway is kind of small anyway). Massive bedroom with ensuite, with doors that open out onto the verandah. The housesitters were absolutely lovely. One-off, small fee for wireless internet. Breakfast each morning was nice, with nice homemade snacks made to enjoy and good, strong coffee. Skagway is a really cute little town,... More

On booking the b&b we were told to use the courtesy phone at the ferry dock and we would be picked up on arrival at 11pm. Despite doing this no one came to collect us. A kind man from a nearby b&b gave us a lift. No-body met us at the door on arrival or showed us to our rooms... More

This was a nice clean place with great beds and a reasonably friendly host but had the feel of a hotel rather than B&B. We stayed in B&B's all through Alaska and this was the only place that charged for internet (a pet hate of mine!), charged for under 5's, provided a continental breakfast only (cereal, toast, muffins) and had... We stayed at Mile Zero for three nights. We got there late on the ferry from Juneau, arriving at around 10:00. I had talked with Tara, who told me the key would be available for our room. When we went into our room, which had an outside entrance as well as an entrance from the inner hallway, we were very... More

We have stayed at Mile Zero twice, each time with two early teenage grandchildren. The kids loved the place as much as we did. When we return to Skagway for our next visit, we look forward to staying at Mile Zero again. It's walkable distance to "downtown," the harbor area, the trail to Dewey Lake, and even the airport. The... More

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Owner is a fantastic host and the property is great. Central - easy walking distance to main street; waterfront; ferry/ship terminal; walks etc. Immaculately kept and presented - clean; comfortable; excellent breakfasts. We were there is the middle of winter and it was a great adventure.
