My husband & I stayed for two nights in May before an Alaskan cruise. Location (6th & Madison) was convenient if you don't mind walking a few blocks. Yes, Madison Street is very steep, but just walk down 6th Ave to Pine Street (6 blocks to the left when exiting the lobby), and turn left on Pine- its flat &... More

Spent the weekend in Seattle with a friend and had a great time at the hotel. While the location was a little far from the major attractions, it was all within walking distance. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The concierge was very helpful!!

I've been staying at the Renaissance on 6th and Madison every other week for about 18 months now. I like the central location for work and fun. Easy walk to the International District, Capitol Hill or the Market. However, I mostly just spend my evenings after work in the hotel. The food is excellent. They have three restaurants to choose... I spent six nights here on business and had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Working 14-hours a day I wanted to come back to the hotel and relax. This is possible in the lobby bar or in the rewards lounge. One night I spent the evening in the lobby bar for beverages and dinner. Both dinner... More

The hotel is nice on the inside, and is centrally located. Unfortunately the rooms are mediocre, with small hard beds. The shower wouldn't stay hot for more than a couple minutes, nothing makes me more happy then having to shower in freezing cold water, wow. I don't see how this is rated 4 star if you don't have consistent hot... More

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights at the Renaissance and found it very clean, quiet and easy walking distance to Seattle sights. Yes, it was uphill to the hotel but the reviews saying to walk up 6th Ave helped a great deal. We were given a nice quiet room on the west side with 2 beds just as other... More

This hotel is not right in the downtown area, and is a block or two removed. But that's a good thing, providing not only a bit of walking opportunity after all you'll be eating at Pike Market and other fun places, but also avoiding the hustle and bustle of the heart of downtown. Great service, and very nice rooms. I... More

We stayed just one night on our way home from another trip and liked this hotel very much. The bar was very trendy and chic and the rooms were very modern and nicely decorated. I asked for a quiet room as I had read reviews that the freeway was a bit noisy so we were given one on the other... More
