If you are familiar with the Fairmont chain then you already know it will be a luxury traditional property. The Fairmont Olymic Seattle is in a historical building and very centrally located. I felt the furniture in the lobby and rooms were due for refurbishment. Some of the cushions had lost their form and sunken in. We had a Deluxe... More

We spent 2 days at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle Washing. It was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff always addresses you by name, the service at all levels is outstanding. The food in the Georgian Room was fantastic. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was... More

It is a lovely old hotel, and we really were pleased with the size of our room, and the furnishings. However, it is an old hotel. We couldn't find plugs for hairdryers, etc., at first. The bathroom was just average. The Georgian Restaurant looked beautiful, but we didn't eat there. The staff was amazing, and over the top. I guess... More

Arrived a little early for our room ...no problem they said come back later and leave those heavy bags and we will have things ready. It was a wonderful room and a splendidly grand hotel. It was perfect for my daughter and I to have a brief visit. The concierge directed us to an ideal place to eat ..Lola's greek... More

Stayed two nights at the Fairmont Olympic. Not disappointed, never have been with the Fairmont properties. Staff was very attentive, can't say enough about the location. Loved it!

I recently got married at Fairmont Olympic in the Spanish Ballroom, so I might be biased in this review--I LOVE the hotel! We stayed at a corner suite for three nights, the staff was friendly and very helpful. My whole experience was as good as it could be. I also had my changing room at the Cascade suite, and it's... Loved our stay at the Olympic! Wonderful service from all employees we encountered. Self service business center met our needs perfectly. So enjoyed the Belle Epicurean pastry & coffee shop and had a perfect seafood dinner at Schuckers. True maid service in the room. Perfect downtown location. Thanks Fairmont Olympic!

I generally do not like "grand hotels", as they are only pseudo-chic, worn out and not comfortable. So is the Fairmont Olympic. Terribly loud rooms, with annoying traffic noise due to very poor windows. Service slow and bad - the Q-tips and shower gel not replaced for 3 days! A bit "dusted" feeling everywhere.

Thank you or sharing your feelings about the hotel and your stay. I appreciate your taking the time to share the specifics that will allow me to follow up with the staff. We receive very few comments of this nature, but if we do, we take the matter seriously. Again, thank you and we hope that you will give us... More

2 night stay in May on a pre-paid special rate. Decided to try this property instead of my usual hotel 1 block away and I couldn't have been happier. The rooms were on the smaller side but nicely appointed. The carpet was a bit old and even wrinkled in some parts of the room. All the amenities that you expect... More
