Just upstairs from Seattle's premier steakhouse and bar, our evening out was perfect when all we had to do was climb the stairs! Lovely, stylish, comfortable room with Bose radio, leather furniture, fluffy robes and fabulous bed. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Easy walk to Pike's Market, great shopping, Seattle Center. We will return whenever we overnight in the city.

I was in Seattle one night on business and decided to try something different from the large chain hotels where i usually stay. My decision was rewarded with a very pleasant stay at this quaint boutique hotel. The staff was quick and courteous and my room, despite being an online third party booking, had plenty of space and a fantastic... More

The 50's motif was a fun lark, but El Gaucho's selling point is its location and knowing that you're getting away from the big chains. The room was clean ans spacious, with better furniture than it competitors (leather couch and armchair). The service was decent, and the attached restaurant/bar is nicely upscale. Although I didn't get to see it, the... More

This hotel was in an excellent location, the staff were friendly and the room was clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again if I was back in Seattle. A couple of tips, when you make your reservation ask for a room that does not face 1st, as this street can be a bit noisy. Also if you have... More

Located in the trendy Belltown area of Seattle this boutique hotel has it's pros and cons. The hotel has been renovated over an 8 year period. The decor is trendy with a contemporary color scheme of brown and tan with plush white linens. Their designer has done a good job in making the best of the space in the rooms.... More

My husband and I were excited to step away from some of the bigger name chains and try a boutique hotel for our latest trip to Seattle. Unfortunately, the Inn at El Gaucho was not a rewarding experience. The room was small and dark, there were toe nails on the carpet next to the bed, hairs on the towels and... More

I found this amazing hotel, the Inn at El Gaucho on ILoveinns. The hotel is intimate, comfortable and the staff is lovely and helpful. The location is fantastic, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go; Pike Place Market, the Aquarium, The Space Needle, Shopping, Dining and more. They have extra touches that make it really nice, delicious... More

I really enjoyed my stay at El Gaucho. The staff was friendly and helpful. The small touches here were really lovely--chocolate chip cookies at arrival, hand-written thank you notes and key card envelopes, water and coffee available. The lobby's really nice with a fireplace and a swanky Old Hollywood feel. Wall art was Hollywood inspired. I enjoyed the location...walkable to... More

This was one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. There was a full sized leather sofa in my room with a great flat screen! The linens, glasswear, bath products were of a higher quality than you would normally have in a hotel. The staff was great with suggestions of where to go, and most importantly you... More

We spent a lovely 7 days at this hotel. I love it! Best night sleep I've had in a long time. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and down comforters. Loved the leather couch with flat screen TV. If you don't want to watch TV you have lovely built in radio with great sound system. Gourmet coffee... More
