A very nice place to stay. Good value for money.The Rooms are clean and cheerfull. Staff are very helpfull and friendly. Has a very helpfull shuttle service to and from airport and downtown attractions. We are mature experienced Aussie world travellers and would recommend this hotel to other " grey travellers"

We stayed at the Anchorage Downtown Hotel for two nights on our trip to Alaska. Everyone who worked there was very friendly, helpful and courteous. The shuttle service to/from airport was terrific. Continental breakfast was good and the hotel and our room were all clean and attractive. Just a short walk to shops and restaurants. Very quiet neighborhood.

We found the hotel's edge of downtown location ideal for walking to downtown attractions, yet quiet and close to parks. The off-street parking was handy for our rental car.
