My 5th time returning to Wilderness Place Lodge and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Every trip gets better!! We love this place. Have been back 5 times. Praying we can make it back in 2013!!! I can't say enough about the people, service, fishing, accommodations, food!!!! You will love it. We've been to many other Alaska fishing lodges, but this place tops them all.

Wilderness Place Lodge has many qualities that compel me to give it a high rating. First, it's primarily a fishing lodge, and the fishing is fantastic. Went for our 30th anniv. Great accomodations, staff, food, fishing. Didn't want the trip to end. Would go back in a heart beat and will be back. They go the extra mile for you.

We made it out for a quick fishing trip while in Anchorage. Very convenient flight to the lodge (they sent shuttle to us) and within an hour of leaving we were at the lodge and in sight of river.
