Stayed here a couple of times now. Located next to the airport. It has a very rustic, old world charm. It you are looking for a Hilton type property, this isn't it. TV was broken, interent was broken all evening. Windows in hall were open and had fans blowing air out, meanwhile the heat was on full blast in the stairwells keeping the room very warm. My husband and I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions, and the service has gotten progressively worse. The restaurant downstairs is a plus, as well as the free wifi and airport shuttle, but there are too many negatives for me to recommend ths hotel to anyone. This is a good hotel, though not perfect. It could use a little more maintenance, and they charge for their business computer (though they do have free wireless). The room was clean and in good shape.

I liked staying here...the decor is interesting and it lets you know you're in Alaska. The room I had was layed out nicely and was clean. The restaurant had good food, with a reindeer sausage omelet on the menu. I did have a problem with the bill, but it got straightened out.
