This is my second review and I don't know where to start. (I had my first review deleted, and wrote this one, as TA doesn't allow for 2 reviews. I just read in the ADN that the city is looking to use this hotel to house inebrietes. This obviously doesn't bode well for the hotel.) Unfortunately the Red Roof has... More

They charged me for nights I never stayed there. If I had looked on Trip Advisor first I would have known that three other people complained about the same thing (overcharges on credit cards). This is no innocent mistake. In my opinion, the manager should be fired and be in jail. She outright lied to me. It is still chilly... More

There are two buildings, one that is over open air parking and another where the rooms open onto the parking spaces (like the old fashion motels of the 50's). We stayed on the second floor over the parking spaces, which is really the third floor up. There is no elevator to carry you or your luggage up to there, so... More

My sister & I had booked 2 rooms for our vacation. When we got there our rooms weren't ready they said that because it was Christmas they gave their staff the day off (I booked in Sept for Christmas day so they knew we were coming)so they gave us a room with smaller beds(I reserved a double queen & got... This place was the worst place I have probably ever stayed in. First off, the keys for our door did not work and never worked. Every time we returned we would have to get an employee to open it for us. We reserved an "all-inclusive king" room online, but ended up with a tiny room and small queen. We also... More

Very Interesting Motel... Parking was a big issue... If you stay here just parallel park along the road because the parking spots are way to small for most cars unless you drive a golf cart. The parking is especially bad in the tiny parking garage under the motel's second building. The rooms looked to be newly remodeled and looked very... More

I was given a smoking room (with an ashtray) that the desk clerk swore was non-smoking. The carpet was filthy and I was kept up all night by a drunk screaming in the next room. I'm told some of the clientele are public assistance cases sent to Anchorage for medical treatment but this I don't know for sure. One woman... More

I was going with my husband to Alaska, a last minute cheap trip so we chose Red Roof since it was only $45 a night. We got what we payed for. It had decent water pressure and a nice TV but that about ends the positives. We had two beds in our room, both matresses were awfull. They had big... More

Spent two nights at Red Roof Inn in Anchorage. Incredible price of just around sixty dollars per night with tax included already. Just a few minutes drive to downtown - why pay more money for the downtown places. Room and clean. Only adverse comment was that no room service was provided between the two nights of stay!!

My husband and I spent the first two nights of our 2 week Alaskan vacation at the Red Roof Inn. From the outside it looks fine, but the rooms was in need of some major renovations;carpet dirty, bedspreads and drapes were very worn;room was tiny;employees were friendly and helped with directions;I wish we had spent a few extra dollars and...
