Think college dorm room. Bare bones basic to the point of being almost sterile. Evidence of being worn around the edges but it was quiet and clean. There were a couple of convenience stores and generic chain restaurants in the immediate neighborhood making this a suitable port in the storm for the weary traveler but not exactly a vacation destination.

I was a little apprehensive about this stay, but the motel lived up to the reviews. It is well kept, clean with a helpful staff. The price is very reasonable as compaired with other motels in the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Checked Tripadvisor before traveling to Springfield, Ill and was not disappointed. Our group wanted basic rooms for the night and all members were more than satisfied with the rooms, rate and location. The staff was great and the restaurant recommendation( Lake Pointe Grill) a good choice.
