Based on other reviews I decided to book the 2 bed room rather than the standard 1 bed room for some extra space. Upon arrival I asked to be upgraded to the suite and I was without any second thought by Carlos at the counter. Clean, comfy bed, upgraded to a suite for the same price as a regular room. Price was very reasonable and staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. We were on vacation, but this would be a great place for a business traveler.

I stayed here on business several times years ago when it was brand new. This time I stayed over traveling with my two dogs. We received a free upgrade which was very nice. The corners and baseboards were dusty, but otherwise very clean. We will continue to look for Microtels wherever we travel.

I have stayed at the Springfield IL Micro-tel several times while on business in the area. I have always found the hotel to be clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Wireless internet works well with a nice selection of channels on their flat screen TV.
