We stayed over night to attend a concert at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. The room was nice and big. The service staff was excellent as was the food and bar. We particularly enjoyed the Friday night happy hour entertainer Brian Weeks, who tuned out to be better than the concert show we took in.

The first time I stayed there the carpet in the room was wet. Sort of gross, but not a big deal. The second time I tried to stay I bought a guaranteed non-refundable room reservation, but when I got delayed at work and couldn't get there until early AM they told me they had sold my guaranteed room to someone... Very close to Tsongas Center, downtown restaurants and night spots in Lowell. Friendly staff, clean rooms, bring your own bottled water because there are no vending machines on the "hotel side".

Right in the heart of Lowell, this former Doubletree Hotel is now better than ever. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very clean. The small bar with the fireplace is inviting and fun. And the location is terrific, so close to restaurants and the downtown core. Love this place.

No continental breakfast. Room was on ground floor with what looked like a sweet 16 party going on. Can't really fault the place. The bed was comfy. The view of the campus grounds was nice.

I was a little concerned that I had been booked into a student hall of residence when I first saw the booking. I needn't have worried though, this is a good place to stay for central Lowell and represents good value for money. The bar is a little small but is well equipped, with a small but varied menu. Bar... More

I stayed here for two nights while attending the 2011 Carbon Smarts Conference at the Inn. The staff was accommodating and very hospitable. When I arrived, I was graciously given a complimentary upgrade to a King Suite. Holy moly, the room was huge. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very quiet. The meeting rooms were spectacular and the... More

Coming here on a business trip to the area, I stayed here for 5 days. My first impression stepping into the front door lobby was that this must be a swanky place. More or less I would consider everything else there fairly average. The room I had was what I would consider average as well. It was clean and the... More

I stayed at the hotel for five nights to attend a conference there. It is centrally located, and a flightline van can easily take you to Boston-Logan and Manchester airports. Staff is excellent. This was a former doubletree hoter, and purchased by UMASS. The hotel is on the 1st and 2nd floors, while top floors are used for college residential... More

My husband and I were to stay for two nights, August 26-28. We checked in on Friday and went to see a show in the nearby park, but with Hurricane Irene approaching we were becoming increasingly anxious about getting home to Long Island. We returned to the hotel after the show, but decided to leave that night to beat the... More
